When I first started working with clay, I felt so inadequate. Looking back now, I realize that everyone starts out that way. What separates true ceramicists from someone who dabbles in clay is the perseverance not to allow yourself to be defeating by the clay. You stay on the path. With time, you improve but never master for there is always more to learn.
